Abstrakt:

A discussion within institutions, particularly doctor-patient communication, has enjoyed a great deal attention in recent years. Literature reveals that both behavioral scientists and medical specialists have carried out intensive empirical research into various aspects of medical interviewing, so it may seem that no further investigation is needed. Nevertheless, the dissatisfaction of doctors with the procedures and outcomes of general practice consultation, and the experience of communication difficulties in general, suggest that this subject matter is still of vital importance.
