Abstrakt: 

The paper investigates NPs with so-adj predeterminers using a sample gathered from the BNC and some additional sources. A quantitative analysis resulting in an overview
of variants of this type of NP and their syntactic functions is followed by a discussion of the possible origin of this construction and its features.
