The paper explores deviations from the basic grammatical distribution of clause constituents (from the SVOMPT principle) and examines the circumstances which make the seemingly anomalous word-order sequences acceptable. These include structural, semantic, stylistic, FSP, contextual, and pragmatic factors, as well as those resulting from the choice of either written or spoken language.
